    Everyone is finally getting to the point (at least in America) where Genetic manipulation and testing is becoming acceptable. The biggest argument someone can make against this type of testing is the fact that every invention or technology we have come up with in our history has had a PROFOUND effect on our surroundings. Why would this technology be any different. For example, in another article I was reading about this same gentleman I believe, he mentioned the fact that "maybe" his bacteria could be made to consume CO2, thus magically getting rid of our global warming problem. What he fails to mention is he has no idea how his bacteria would react in an environment where there literally thousands of variables to take into consideration. What do we do if the bacteria evolves into something that consumes just oxygen. More>>

    We live on Olive Hill (Fallbrook) and would like to know why we seem to have an extra large police presence in our area? Does anyone know if we will be able to go into Fallbrook for groceries on Thursday? Thank you.
