    A rolled-up $20 bill was found on the floor near the bed, but New York Police Department spokesman Paul Browne said lab tests found nothing to indicate the bill had been used to snort drugs. Police also said no illegal drugs were found in the apartment.

    Lee Daniels, who produced the critically acclaimed 2001 movie "Monster's Ball," in which Ledger starred, strongly disputed any notion that Ledger had a drug problem.

    "The definition of substance abuse is really up to one's perspective," Daniels said. "I didn't see him as a drug addict. I saw him as someone who enjoyed life. I know drug addicts -- he was not a drug addict."

    Lynne Spears's book about raising her famous daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn has been put on hold, the publisher confirms to PEOPLE. "The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not cancelled," says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles. It had been scheduled for a spring 2008 release and was put on hold last week, says the rep. On Tuesday, news hit that 16-year-old Jamie Lynn is pregnant with her boyfriend's child. Publishers' Weekly described the book as "Lynne Spears's personal story of raising high-profile children while coming from a low-profile Louisiana community." The publisher declined to comment on whether the focus of the book would change in light of the pregnancy announcement. "We are standing behind Lynn at this time and understand that she needs time with her family – we support that," says the spokeswoman. More>>

    I was all hyped up to see Jim Jones in the reality show they were filming on VH1, but I don't know what's become of it. It is going around that there was tension between Jim and the producers of the show. There is no such thing as a true reality show, but there is something called “scripted reality." That's what Run and the family do. And that works for some, but Jim Jones is the real deal. I heard he just wasn't with the script and wasn't able to flip it to fit his mode of operation. All the filming is supposedly done, but the editing is very tricky with a reality-based stickler like Jim Jones the Capo.
